Book a lecture for peace 2024

At Literature Cambridge we have a regular lecture to support refugee charities. This year we also want to do something to help the people of Gaza and those working for peace.

We are offering two lectures in June 2024. All proceeds will be shared equally between three charities:

Oxfam Gaza
Standing Together (Palestinian and Israeli joint peace campaign)
Gatwick Detainees Welfare Group (group helping refugees in the UK)

There are two Lectures for Peace. Trudi Tate will discuss Woolf’s thinking about women in her great novel of 1927, To the Lighthouse. Karina Jakubowicz will explore Forster’s brilliant novel of empire and injustice, A Passage to India (1924).
